Ivonne Cuello is the CEO at the Association for Private Capital Investment in Latin America (LAVCA), a non-profit membership organization comprised of over 190 firms that control assets in excess of US$65b directed at capitalizing and growing Latin American businesses. Members include the most active private equity, venture capital, real estate, and infrastructure funds, as well as family offices, sovereign wealth funds, pension funds, and other private capital investors.
Prior to joining LAVCA, Ivonne was Director of Entrepreneurship at ANDI (Asociacion Nacional de Empresarios de Colombia), a private sector organization in Colombia. In this role she headed and launched their Entrepreneurship Program and built the National Mentor and Investment Angel platform, with the support of MIT and C-Level Executives and HNWI. Ivonne also previously worked at Proexport Colombia, a government investment agency where she liaised with private equity investors from the US, Canada, the UK, and Asia. In addition, she collaborated with the Ministry of Finance and a local development bank in an effort to enhance the regulatory framework for private equity. Ivonne has her Masters of Science in Global Management from the Université Paris-Dauphine and a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from the Universidad de los Andes.
